Egypt was the largest exporting country with an export of about X tons, which resulted at X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by South Africa (X tons) and Tanzania (X tons), together generating a X% share of total exports. Zambia (X tons), Ghana (X tons), Rwanda (X tons) and Lesotho (X tons) held a minor share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to cereal flour exports from Egypt stood at X%. In 2023, Somalia (X tons), distantly followed by Angola (X tons), Madagascar (X tons), Djibouti (X tons), Sudan (X tons), Mozambique (X tons) and Democratic Republic of the Congo (X tons) were the main importers of cereal flours, together committing X% of total imports. Somalia (X p.p.), Sudan (X p.p.), Djibouti (X p.p.), Mozambique (X p.p.), Nigeria (X p.p.), Lesotho (X p.p.), Sierra Leone (X p.p.), South Sudan (X p.p.) and Madagascar (X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Democratic Republic of the Congo and Angola saw its share reduced by X% and X% from 2012 to 2023, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
