Albumins And Albuminates Exports

Exports in Africa

Albumins and albuminates exports declined markedly to X tons in 2022, falling by X% against the year before. In general, exports, however, recorded a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, albumins and albuminates exports fell notably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed buoyant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Egypt prevails in exports structure, resulting at X tons, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2022. Swaziland (X tons) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by South Africa (X%). Tanzania (X tons) and Kenya (X tons) took a relatively small share of total exports.

Exports from Egypt increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Tanzania (X%), Kenya (X%), Swaziland (X%) and South Africa (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Tanzania emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Africa, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. While the share of Egypt (X p.p.), Tanzania (X p.p.) and Kenya (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of Swaziland (X p.p.) and South Africa (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.

In 2022, the export price in Africa amounted to $X per ton, waning by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a perceptible reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of X%. The level of export peaked at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2021, and then fell rapidly in the following year.
