Exports from the Netherlands

For the third consecutive year, the Netherlands recorded growth in shipments abroad of cosmetics, which increased by X% to X tons in 2022. Over the period under review, exports recorded prominent growth. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, cosmetics exports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, exports enjoyed resilient growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in years to come.

Exports by Country

Belgium (X tons) was the main destination for cosmetics exports from the Netherlands, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, cosmetics exports to Belgium exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Germany (X tons), twofold. The UK (X tons) ranked third in terms of total exports with an X% share.

In 2022, Germany (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of cosmetics to the Netherlands, with a X% share of total imports.
