Price for Rusks and Toasted Bread in Germany (CIF) - 2023
In June 2023, the average rusks and toasted bread import price amounted to $2,899 per ton, declining by -21.6% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 36% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $3,697 per ton in May 2023, and then fell significantly in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Romania ($4,743 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($1,260 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ireland (+6.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Price for Rusks and Toasted Bread in Germany (FOB) - 2023
In June 2023, the average rusks and toasted bread export price amounted to $4,142 per ton, growing by 12% against the previous month. Overall, the export price saw a slight expansion. The export price peaked at $4,471 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to June 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Spain ($8,012 per ton), while the average price for exports to India ($1,178 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+7.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Rusks and Toasted Bread in Germany
