Cosmetics Price in Poland (FOB) - 2022
The average cosmetics export price stood at $11,804 per ton in 2022, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated modest growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the average export price increased by 24% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $11,899 per ton in 2021, and then declined modestly in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($22,584 per ton), while the average price for exports to France ($3,277 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Czech Republic (+11.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Cosmetics Price in Poland (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average cosmetics import price amounted to $16,134 per ton, which is down by -3.6% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.6%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 12%. The import price peaked at $17,438 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($44,420 per ton), while the price for Ireland ($6,164 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+14.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Cosmetics Exports in Poland
In 2022, cosmetics exports from Poland expanded to 185K tons, surging by 1.5% against 2021. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.3% from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by 8.5%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
In value terms, cosmetics exports stood at $2.2B in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +8.6% over the period from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being observed throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when exports increased by 17% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
