The revenue of the frozen fruit and nuts market in the European Union amounted to $2.3B in 2018, staying flat against the previous year. In 2018, the countries with the largest volume of frozen fruit and nuts consumption were Germany (26% market share, 373K tons), France (13%, 183K tons) and Italy (10%, 149K tons).

In 2018, approx. 944K tons of frozen fruit and nuts were produced in the European Union; shrinking by -6% against the previous year. Poland (351K tons) remains the largest frozen fruit and nuts producing country in the European Union, comprising approx. 37% of total volume. It was followed by Spain (126K tons) and Italy (122K tons), with the combined share of 26%.

The exports of frozen fruit and nuts in the Eu stood at 899K tons in 2018, rising by 2.3% against the previous year. The top four exporters were Poland, Netherlands, Belgium and Spain. Imports volume was higher at 1371K tons with the key importers being Germany, France, Netherlands and Belgium.
