Almond Production in Pakistan

Almond production in Pakistan amounted to 22.0 thousand tonnes in 2015, rising by +1.7% against the previous year level. Overall, the almond output pursued a moderate decline from 2007 to 2015. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. This general negative trend was largely conditioned by a slight curtailment of the harvested area and a slight contraction of the yield figures.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2008, when the output figure increased by +14% from the previous year level. In that year, the almond production in Pakistan attained its maximum volume of 26.6 thousand tonnes. From 2009 to 2015, the almond output in growth failed to regain its strength.
