Surveying Import Prices By Country
The average surveying import price stood at $X per kg in 2016, going down by -X% against the previous year. Over the last nine years it increased at an average annual rate of +X pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2008, when it surged by X% from the previous year level. Over the period under review, average surveying import price reached its maximum level of $X per kg in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2016, it failed to regain its strength.
There were significant differences in the average import prices amongst major importing countries. In 2016, the country with the highest import prices was Switzerland ($X per kg), while Nigeria ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
