Refrigerator Imports By Country
The imports of the three major importers of refrigerator, namely China, the U.S., and Mexico, represented more than third of total import. Italy (X tonnes) took a X% share (based on tonnes) of global refrigerator imports, which put it in second place, following South Korea (X%). Turkey (X tonnes), Thailand (X tonnes), Germany (X tonnes), France (X tonnes), the UK (X tonnes), Poland (X tonnes), and Singapore (X tonnes) took the slight share of total imports.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of refrigerator imports, among the main importing countries, was attained by the U.S. (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the U.S. ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported refrigerator worldwide, making up X% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Germany ($X), with the share of X% of global imports. It was followed by France, with the share of X%.
From 2007 to 2016, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value of refrigerator imports in the U.S. expanded at +X%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates: Germany (+X% per year) and France (-X% per year).
Refrigerator Import Prices By Country
In 2016, the average import price for refrigerator amounted to $X per tonne, shrinking by -X% against the previous year. Overall, refrigerator import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2011, when import increased by X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, average refrigerator import price attained its maximum level of $X per tonne in 2014- however, from 2015 to 2016, it stood at a somewhat lower level.
There were significant differences in the average import prices amongst major importing countries. In 2016, the country with the highest import prices was Germany ($X per tonne), while China ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
