Which Country Imports the Most Nonwoven Textiles in the World?

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. Based on the result of 2016, nitrogenous, phosphorus or potassium fertilizer imports decreased by ;25.3% against its level of 2011. In that year, global nitrogenous, phosphorus or potassium fertilizer imports reached its maximum level of $28B. From 2009 to 2016, growth of global nitrogenous, phosphorus or potassium fertilizer imports failed to regain its strength.

Brazil (5.8M tonnes), and India (5.6M tonnes) were the main importers of nitrogenous, phosphorus or potassium fertilizer in 2016, amounting to near 12%, and 12% of total imports, respectively. The following importers ; Thailand (2M tonnes), Ukraine (1.8M tonnes), Canada (1.5M tonnes), Australia (1.4M tonnes), Argentina (1.3M tonnes), Viet Nam (1.3M tonnes), Pakistan (1.3M tonnes), China (1.2M tonnes), Mexico (1.2M tonnes), and Spain (1.1M tonnes) together made up 30% of total imports.

From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of nitrogenous, phosphorus or potassium fertilizer imports, among the main importing countries, was attained by Ukraine (+13.0% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest nitrogenous, phosphorus or potassium fertilizer markets worldwide were Brazil ($2.1B), India ($2B) and Thailand ($722M), together accounting for 24% of global imports.Canada, China, Ukraine, Australia, Viet Nam, Mexico, Argentina, Pakistan and Spain lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 24%.

France (135K tonnes), Poland (131K tonnes), the UK (125K tonnes), Mexico (117K tonnes), South Korea (105K tonnes), Czech Republic (101K tonnes), and Canada (99K tonnes) held the mild share of total imports.
