Canned Food Imports By Country
In 2016, Mozambique (X tonnes), followed by the U.S. (X tonnes), Canada (X tonnes), the UK (X tonnes), Mexico (X tonnes), and Germany (X tonnes) were the key importers of canned food, together making up X% of total imports. The following importers - the Netherlands (X tonnes), France (X tonnes), Belgium (X tonnes), Australia (X tonnes), Sweden (X tonnes), and China, Hong Kong SAR (X tonnes) together made up X% of total imports.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of canned food imports, among the main importing countries, was attained by Mozambique (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Canned Food Import Prices By Country
The average canned food import price stood at $X per tonne in 2016, dropping by -X% against the previous year. In general, canned food import price continues to indicate a mild shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2011, when import increased by X% against the previous year level. In that year, average canned food import price attained its maximum level of $X per tonne. From 2012 to 2016, growth of average canned food import price stood at a somewhat lower level.
Import prices varied noticeably by country of destination. the country with the highest import prices was Mexico ($X per tonne), while Mozambique ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
