Gauze Import Prices By Country
The average gauze import price stood at $X per tonne in 2016, dropping by -X% against the previous year. In general, gauze import price continues to indicate a deep decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014, an increase of X% from the previous year level. Over the period under review, average gauze import price reached its maximum level of $X per tonne in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2016, it stood at a somewhat lower level.
There were significant differences in the average import prices amongst major importing countries. In 2016, the country with the highest import prices was Australia ($X per kg), while Antigua and Barbuda ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
