Fluorspar Imports By Country
In 2016, Turkey (X tonnes), distantly followed by Italy (X tonnes), Spain (X tonnes), and China (X tonnes) represented the key importers of fluorspar, together creating X% of total imports. The following importers - the U.S. (X tonnes), Mexico (X tonnes), Thailand (X tonnes), Russia (X tonnes), India (X tonnes), Canada (X tonnes), United Arab Emirates (X tonnes), and Mongolia (X tonnes) together made up X% of total imports.
From 2007 to 2016, average annual rates of growth with regard to fluorspar imports into Turkey stood at +X%. At the same time, Russia (+X%), Spain (+X%), India (+X%), United Arab Emirates (+X%), and Mongolia (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Russia emerged as the fastest growing importer/exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2016. China, Mexico, the U.S., Thailand, and Italy experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Canada (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. In value terms, the U.S. ($X), Italy ($X) and Spain ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2016, with a combined X% share of global imports.Russia, India, China, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Canada, Thailand, Mexico and Mongolia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.
China (+X% per year) recorded the highest growth rate of fluorspar imports, among the main importing countries, over the last X years, while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Fluorspar Import Prices By Country
In 2016, the average import price for fluorspar amounted to $X per tonne, waning by -X% against the previous year. Overall, fluorspar import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2008, when import price increased by X% from the previous year level. Global fluorspar import peaked of $X per tonne in 2011- however, from 2012 to 2016, it stood at a somewhat lower level.
There were significant differences in the average import prices amongst major importing countries. In 2016, the country with the highest import prices was the U.S. ($X per tonne), while Mongolia ($X per kg) was among the lowest.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of fluorspar import prices was attained by China (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
