The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the period from 2007 to 2016- the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations over the period under review. Global bearing import peaked of $X in 2011- however, from 2012 to 2016, it stood at a somewhat lower level.

Bearing Imports By Country
China (X tonnes), Japan (X tonnes), Germany (X tonnes), and the U.S. (X tonnes) represented roughly X% of total imports of bearing in 2016. It was distantly followed by France (X tonnes), creating X% share of total bearing imports. The following importers - Mexico (X tonnes), South Korea (X tonnes), Italy (X tonnes), Romania (X tonnes), Singapore (X tonnes), Slovakia (X tonnes), and India (X tonnes) together made up X% of total imports.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of bearing imports, among the main importing countries, was attained by India (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest bearing markets worldwide were Germany ($X), China ($X) and the U.S. ($X), together accounting for X% of global imports. These countries were followed by France, Mexico, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, India, Japan, Slovakia and Romania, which together accounted for a further X%.

Bearing Import Prices By Country
The average bearing import price stood at $X per tonne in 2016, coming down by -X% against the previous year. In general, bearing import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2008, when import increased by X% year-to-year. Global bearing import peaked of $X per kg in 2011- however, from 2012 to 2016, it failed to regain its strength.
There were significant differences in the average import prices amongst major importing countries. In 2016, the country with the highest import prices was India ($X per kg), while Japan ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of bearing import prices was attained by China (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
