Belgium (X tonnes), Japan (X tonnes), Mexico (X tonnes), Spain (X tonnes), Canada (X tonnes), Czech Republic (X tonnes), South Korea (X tonnes), and Malaysia (X tonnes) occupied the weak share of total exports.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of textile exports, among the main exporting countries, was attained by Malaysia (nan% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest textile markets worldwide were Germany ($X), the U.S. ($X) and China ($X), with a combined X% share of global exports. These countries were followed by Japan, Italy, Canada, Belgium, South Korea, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain and Malaysia, which together accounted for a further X%.
South Korea (+X% per year) had the highest growth rate of textile exports, in terms of the main exporting countries, over the last X years, while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Textile Export Prices By Country
The average textile export price stood at $X per kg in 2016, going down by -X% against the previous year. In general, textile export price continues to indicate a mild setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014, when export increased by X% from the previous year level. Global textile export peaked of $X per kg in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2016, it stood at a somewhat lower level.
There were significant differences in the average export prices amongst major exporting countries. In 2016, the country with the highest export prices was Japan ($X per kg), while Malaysia ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of textile export prices was attained by Mexico (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced mixed trends in the export price figures.
