In 2016, the amount of textile machinery exported worldwide amounted to X tonnes, going down by -X% against the previous year figure. Overall, textile machinery exports continue to indicate a remarkable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014, when export increased by X% y-o-y. Global textile machinery export peaked of X tonnes in 2015, falling back in the following year.

In value terms, textile machinery exports amounted to $X in 2016. In general, textile machinery exports continue to indicate a deep drop. Over the period under review, global textile machinery exports attained its maximum level of $X in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2016, it stood at a somewhat lower level.
