The following exporters - Azerbaijan (X tonnes), Italy (X tonnes), and Brazil (X tonnes) together made up X% of total exports.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of silk waste exports, among the main exporting countries, was attained by Viet Nam (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In general, silk waste export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013, when export price increased by X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, average silk waste export price attained its maximum level of $X per kg in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2016, it stood at a somewhat lower level.
There were significant differences in the average export prices amongst major exporting countries. In 2016, the country with the highest export prices was Italy ($X per kg), while Azerbaijan ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
