Narrow Woven Fabric Imports By Country
In 2016, Mexico (X tonnes), distantly followed by the U.S. (X tonnes), and China, Hong Kong SAR (X tonnes) represented the main importers of narrow woven fabric, together generating X% of total imports. China (X tonnes), the Philippines (X tonnes), the UK (X tonnes), Poland (X tonnes), Germany (X tonnes), Viet Nam (X tonnes), India (X tonnes), Romania (X tonnes), and Czech Republic (X tonnes) occupied the mild share of total imports.
Imports into Mexico increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2016. At the same time, the Philippines (+X%), Czech Republic (+X%), India (+X%), Viet Nam (+X%), Romania (+X%), and the UK (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the Philippines emerged as the fastest growing importer/exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2016. The U.S., Poland, China, Hong Kong SAR, and Germany experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, China (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. China (X%) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the global imports, while Czech Republic, the Philippines, and Mexico saw its share reduced by -X%, -X%, and -X% from 2007 to 2016, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the U.S. ($X), Mexico ($X) and China ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2016, with a combined X% share of global imports. These countries were followed by China, Hong Kong SAR, Viet Nam, Germany, Romania, Poland, Czech Republic, India, the UK and the Philippines, which together accounted for a further X%.
Czech Republic (+X% per year) recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the narrow woven fabric imports, in terms of the main importing countries, over the last X year period, while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Narrow Woven Fabric Import Prices By Country
The average narrow woven fabric import price stood at $X per tonne in 2016, shrinking by -X% against the previous year. In general, narrow woven fabric import price continues to indicate a mild decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015, when import increased by X% year-to-year.
