It was distantly followed by the U.S. (X tonnes), mixed up X% share of total nail and bolt imports. Oman (X tonnes), Japan (X tonnes), Canada (X tonnes), South Korea (X tonnes), Malaysia (X tonnes), Germany (X tonnes), and the UK (X tonnes) followed a long way behind this figure.

In value terms, the U.S. ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported nail and bolt worldwide, making up X% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Germany ($X), with the share of X% of global imports. It was followed by Canada, with the share of X%.
In the U.S., nail and bolt imports plunged by an average annual rate of -X% over the period from 2007-2016. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates: Germany (-X% per year) and Canada (+X% per year).

The average nail and bolt import price stood at $X per tonne in 2016, flattening at the previous year level. Overall, nail and bolt import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2008, when import increased by X% y-o-y. In that year, average nail and bolt import price reached its maximum level of $X per tonne. From 2009 to 2016, growth of average nail and bolt import price stood at a somewhat lower level.
Import prices varied noticeably by country of destination. the country with the highest import prices was the UK ($X per tonne), while China ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of nail and bolt import prices was attained by Malaysia (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
