Marble Imports By Country
China (X tonnes) prevails in marble imports structure, accounting for X tonnes, which was approx. X% of total imports in 2016. It was distantly followed by India (X tonnes), achieving X% share of total marble imports. Italy (X tonnes), Egypt (X tonnes), Togo (X tonnes), and Algeria (X tonnes) followed a long way behind this figure.
Imports into China increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2016. At the same time, Egypt (+X%), India (+X%), and Algeria (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Egypt emerged as the fastest growing importer/exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2016. Marble Import Prices By Country
In 2016, the average import price for marble amounted to $X per tonne, descending by -X% against the previous year.
