Marble Imports By Country

China (X tons) prevails in marble imports structure, accounting for X tons, which was approx. X% of total imports in 2016. It was distantly followed by India (X tons), achieving X% share of total marble imports. Italy (X tons), Egypt (X tons), Togo (X tons), and Algeria (X tons) followed a long way behind this figure.

Imports into China increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2016. At the same time, Egypt (+X%), India (+X%), and Algeria (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Egypt emerged as the fastest growing importer/exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2016. By contrast, Togo (-X%), and Italy (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
