Which Country Exports the Most Manure Spreaders and Fertilizer Distributors in the World?

Global manure spreader exports amounted to 1.2M tonnes in 2016, ascending by 7% against the previous year figure. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.5% over the period from 2007 to 2016; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations over the period under review. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2011, when it surged by 27% y-o-y. Global manure spreader export peaked of 1.3M tonnes in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2016, it stood at a somewhat lower level.

In value terms, manure spreader exports totaled $6.7B in 2016. Overall, it indicated a moderate growth from 2007 to 2016: the total exports value increased at an average annual rate of +2.5% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. Based on the result of 2016, manure spreader exports decreased by -23.8% against its level of 2013. Global manure spreader export peaked of $8.7B in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2016, it failed to regain its strength.

Manure Spreader Exports By Country

The exports of the four major exporters of manure spreader, namely China, Italy, Germany, and the U.S., represented more than third of total export. It was distantly followed by France (59K tonnes), achieving 5% share of total manure spreader exports. Canada (48K tonnes), Poland (43K tonnes), Czech Republic (40K tonnes), Spain (36K tonnes), Turkey (29K tonnes), Denmark (29K tonnes), and Brazil (28K tonnes) followed a long way behind this figure.

From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of manure spreader exports, among the main exporting countries, was attained by China (+10.4% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Germany ($1.2B), Italy ($724M) and the U.S. ($599M) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2016, together accounting for 38% of global exports. These countries were followed by China, France, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Poland, Spain, Brazil and Turkey, which together accounted for a further 32%.

China (+15.8% per year) had the highest growth rate of manure spreader exports, in terms of the main exporting countries, over the last 9 years, while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Manure Spreader Export Prices By Country

In 2016, the average export price for manure spreader amounted to $5,718 per tonne, reducing by -4.1% against the previous year. In general, manure spreader export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2008, when export increased by 11% y-o-y. Over the period under review, average manure spreader export price reached its maximum level of $6,837 per tonne in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2016, it failed to regain its strength.

There were significant differences in the average export prices amongst major exporting countries. In 2016, the country with the highest export prices was Germany ($8,964 per tonne), while Turkey ($2,826 per tonne) was among the lowest.

From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of manure spreader export prices was attained by China (+4.9% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
