Machinery, Auxiliary Exports By Country
China (X tonnes) represented the major exporting country with an export of about X tonnes, which finished at X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Antigua and Barbuda (X tonnes), Italy (X tonnes), France (X tonnes), Germany (X tonnes), India (X tonnes), and Czech Republic (X tonnes), together generating X% share of total machinery, auxiliary exports. The following exporters - Switzerland (X tonnes), Malaysia (X tonnes), Belgium (X tonnes), Spain (X tonnes), and South Korea (X tonnes) together made up X% of total exports.
China experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. At the same time, Malaysia (+X%), Antigua and Barbuda (+X%), Spain (+X%), and India (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Malaysia emerged as the fastest growing importer/exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2016. By contrast, South Korea (-X%), Italy (-X%), France (-X%), Belgium (-X%), Czech Republic (-X%), Germany (-X%), and Switzerland (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2007 to 2016, the share of Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, and France increased by X%, X%, X%, and X% percentage points, while China (-X%), Malaysia (-X%), and Antigua and Barbuda (-X%) saw their share reduced. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the largest machinery, auxiliary markets worldwide were Germany ($X), China ($X) and Switzerland ($X), with a combined X% share of global exports.
