In value terms, Germany ($1.6B), China ($1.3B) and Italy ($1.2B) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2016, together comprising 65% of global exports.

China (+9.0% per year) recorded the highest growth rate of machine-tool for working wood exports, in terms of the main exporting countries, over the last 9 years, while the other global leaders experienced a decline in the exports figures.

In 2016, the average export price for machine-tool for working wood amounted to $8,527 per tonne, reducing by -7.3% against the previous year.
