Laser Imports By Country

Germany (X tonnes) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Malaysia (X tonnes). All these countries together took near X% share of total imports. China, Hong Kong SAR (X tonnes), and Thailand (X tonnes) held the minor share of total imports.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of laser imports, among the main importing countries, was attained by Malaysia (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, China ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported laser worldwide, making up X% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by China, Hong Kong SAR ($X), with the share of X% of global imports. It was followed by Mexico, with the share of X%.
From 2007 to 2016, the average annual growth rate of value of laser imports in China decreased by -X%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates: China, Hong Kong SAR (+X% per year) and Mexico (-X% per year).
Laser Import Prices By Country
The average laser import price stood at $X per kg in 2016, lowering by -X% against the previous year. Overall, laser import price continues to indicate a drastic drop. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2010, when import increased by X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, average laser import price reached its maximum level of $X per kg in 2008- however, from 2009 to 2016, it failed to regain its strength.
There were significant differences in the average import prices amongst major importing countries. In 2016, the country with the highest import prices was China, Hong Kong SAR ($X per kg), while South Korea ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of laser import prices was attained by South Korea (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced a decline in the import price figures.
