The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, China ($X) emerged as the largest gauze supplier in the world, making up X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Malaysia ($X), with the share of X% of global exports. It was followed by Japan, with the share of X%.
From 2007 to 2016, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value of gauze exports in China stood at +X%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Malaysia (-X% per year) and Japan (+X% per year).
Gauze Export Prices By Country
The average gauze export price stood at $X per tonne in 2016, ascending by X% against the previous year. In general, gauze export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014, when export price increased by X% from the previous year level. In that year, average gauze export price attained its maximum level of $X per kg.
