Which Country Exports the Most Flax Yarn in the World?
In 2016, the amount of flax yarn exported worldwide stood at X tonnes, lowering by -X% against the previous year figure. China (X tonnes) prevails in flax yarn exports structure, recording X tonnes, which was near X% of total exports in 2016. Poland (X tonnes) occupied the second position in the ranking, followed by Italy (X tonnes), Tunisia (X tonnes), and Lithuania (X tonnes). All these countries together occupied approx. X% share of total exports. Belarus (X tonnes), and France (X tonnes) followed a long way behind this figure.
From 2007 to 2016, average annual rates of growth with regard to flax yarn exports from China stood at +X%. At the same time, Tunisia (+X%), and Italy (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Tunisia emerged as the fastest growing importer/exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2016. Poland experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Lithuania (-X%), Belarus (-X%), and France (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2007 to 2016, the share of Belarus, and France increased by X%, and X% percentage points, while Tunisia (-X%), and China (-X%) saw their share reduced. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

From 2007 to 2016, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value of flax yarn exports in China stood at +X%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates: Italy (+X% per year) and Poland (+X% per year).
Flax Yarn Export Prices By Country
In 2016, the average export price for flax yarn amounted to $X per tonne, lowering by -X% against the previous year. Over the last nine years it increased at an average annual rate of +X pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2011, when export increased by X% from the previous year level. Global flax yarn export peaked of $X per tonne in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2016, it stood at a somewhat lower level.
Export prices varied noticeably by country of destination. the country with the highest export prices was Italy ($X per kg), while Belarus ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of flax yarn export prices was attained by China (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
