Electrical Insulating Fittings Exports By Country

In 2016, China (58K tonnes), and Germany (48K tonnes) were the largest exporters of electrical insulating fittings in the globe, together generating 33% of total exports. Thailand (30K tonnes) ranks second globally in electrical insulating fittings exports with a 9% share, following Japan (6%), Czech Republic (6%), and Hungary (5%). India (13K tonnes), Belgium (12K tonnes), Austria (11K tonnes), Italy (10K tonnes), Poland (8.7K tonnes), and the Netherlands (8.6K tonnes) followed a long way behind this figure.

From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of electrical insulating fittings exports, among the main exporting countries, was attained by the Netherlands (+23.4% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Germany ($1.3B) remains the largest electrical insulating fittings supplier in the world, making up 24% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Japan ($664M), with the share of 12% of global exports. It was followed by China, with the share of 9%.

From 2007 to 2016, the average annual growth rate of value of electrical insulating fittings exports in Germany expanded at +2.5%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Japan (+0.9% per year) and China (+2.9% per year).
