In 2016, China (X tonnes) represented the key exporter for babies garments and clothing accessories, comprising X% of total exports. Moreover, Cambodia emerged as the fastest growing importer/exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2016. Bangladesh experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, United Arab Emirates (-X%), and China, Hong Kong SAR (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2007 to 2016, the share of China, and China, Hong Kong SAR increased by X%, and X% percentage points, while Indonesia (-X%), Turkey (-X%), Sri Lanka (-X%), Cambodia (-X%), and India (-X%) saw their share reduced. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest babies garments and clothing accessories supplier in the world, making up X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by India ($X), with the share of X% of global exports. It was followed by Bangladesh, with the share of X%.
From 2007 to 2016, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value of babies garments and clothing accessories exports in China expanded at +X%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: India (+X% per year) and Bangladesh (+X% per year).
