Which Country Eats the Most Chestnuts in the World?

Overall, the global chestnut consumption indicated a pronounced growth from 2007 to 2015. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. Moreover, chestnut consumption in China surpassed the figures recorded by Bolivia more than tenfold. They were followed by Turkey with a X% of global consumption share and the Republic of Korea with a X% share.
From 2007 to 2015, an average annual growth rate of chestnut consumption in China stood at +X%. The remaining consuming countries recorded the following average annual growth rates: Bolivia (+X% per year) and Italy (+X% per year).
The highest levels of chestnut per capita consumption was registered in Bolivia (X kg/year), followed by China (X kg/year), the Republic of Korea (X kg/year), Italy (X kg/year) and Turkey (X kg/year), while the average per capita consumption of chestnut was estimated at X kg/year in 2015.
In Italy, per capita chestnut consumption has grown noticably (+X% per year) in recent years. In 2015, Italy per capita consumption reached X kg/year as compared with X kg/year in 2007.
