From 2007 to 2015, global exports on the pepper market surged by +X% per year, amounting to X million USD in 2015. This was X million USD (X%) more than in 2014. In physical terms, exports stood at X thousand tonnes in 2015.
In 2015, according to market research conducted by IndexBox, Viet Nam (X thousand tonnes) was the main exporter of pepper in the world, comprising X% of global exports, and remaining the fastest growing exporter.
Indonesia held the second spot in this ranking with a X% share, followed by Brazil (X%) and India (X%). The balance of countries have posted mixed dynamics over the last eight years: Indonesia (+X%), India (-X%).
Whilst the share of Viet Nam (+X percentage points) and Indonesia (+X percentage points) increased, the share of Brazil (-X percentage points) and India (-X percentage points) displayed negative dynamics.
