Pistachio prices in the United States have seen a significant increase in recent years. This is largely due to the increased demand for pistachios, both from within the country and from abroad. While the cost of pistachios has gone up, the quality of the nuts has also improved, making them a more popular choice for snacks and other foods.
As a result of the higher prices, many growers have been able to invest in better growing practices and facilities. This has resulted in an overall improvement in the quality of pistachios available on the market. In addition, growers have been able to expand their operations to meet the increasing demand.
The United States is one of the largest producers of pistachios in the world. In fact, California – which produces more than 80% of all US-grown pistachios – is currently the top producing region globally.
