Factors Affecting Synthetic Filament Tow Prices
Turkey is one of the world's leading producers of synthetic filament tow, a key raw material used in the manufacture of a wide range of products, from textiles and carpets to tire cords and fishing lines.
Synthetic filament tow prices in Turkey have been on the rise in recent years due to a number of factors. The first is the increasing cost of raw materials, which has been driven by strong demand from China.
Second is the Turkish government's decision to increase import tariffs on a range of synthetic fibers, including polyester and nylon. This has made it more expensive for Turkish manufacturers to purchase raw materials and has led to an increase in the price of finished goods.
Finally, there has been a general increase in transportation costs, as fuel prices have risen around the world. All of these factors have contributed to an increase in synthetic filament tow prices in Turkey.
