Why Are Mixed Juices Prices Rising?
Turkey's mixed juices have reached a record-high price of $2,057 per ton due to a variety of factors. One major reason is the increasing demand for healthy beverages, as consumers are becoming more health-conscious and looking for alternatives to traditional sugary drinks.
Another factor is the impact of weather on fruit crops. A harsh winter and summer heat waves have led to lower yields of fruits used in mixed juices such as oranges, apples, and berries. This has led to an increase in the cost of raw materials for manufacturers, which in turn has driven up the price of the finished product.
Furthermore, there has been an increase in transportation and distribution costs due to rising fuel prices and supply chain disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. These factors have also contributed to the overall increase in the price of mixed juices.
Despite high prices, demand for mixed juices is expected to remain strong due to increasing health awareness and the popularity of convenient, on-the-go beverages. Manufacturers will need to work on finding ways to keep costs down while maintaining quality in order to meet this growing demand.
