In 2018, major exporting countries recorded the following export prices: in Hungary ($X per tonne) and the Netherlands ($X per tonne), while Spain ($X per tonne) and the UK ($X per tonne) were amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of export prices was attained by Hungary, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports in the EU

The imports totaled X tonnes in 2018, approximately equating the previous year. Over the period under review, rabbit meat imports continue to indicate a slight contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013, when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, rabbit meat imports attained their maximum at X tonnes in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2018, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, rabbit meat imports totaled $X (IndexBox estimates) in 2018. In general, rabbit meat imports continue to indicate a mild shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013, with an increase of X% year-to-year.
