Malaysia (X tonnes), Japan (X tonnes) and Indonesia (X tonnes) took the relatively small share of total exports.
Exports from China increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2017. At the same time, India (+X%), Malaysia (+X%), Indonesia (+X%) and Israel (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, India emerged as the fastest growing exporter in Asia, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2017. Japan experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. From 2007 to 2017, the share of Israel, Malaysia, India and China decreased by -X%, -X%, -X% and -X% percentage points, while the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest pesticide supplier in Asia, comprising X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by India ($X), with a X% share of global exports. It was followed by Israel, with a X% share.
Export Prices by Country
In 2017, the pesticide export price in Asia amounted to $X per kg, increasing by X% against the previous year. The pesticide export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern.
There were significant differences in the average export prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2017, the country with the highest export price was Israel ($X per tonne), while Malaysia ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of imports, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by Bangladesh, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest pesticide markets worldwide were India ($X), China ($X) and Thailand ($X), together comprising X% of total imports. Viet Nam, Japan, Indonesia, Turkey, Taiwan, Chinese, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan and Malaysia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.
Import Prices by Country
The pesticide import price in Asia stood at $X per kg in 2017, reducing by -X% against the previous year. The pesticide import price continues to indicate a mild growth.
Import prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest import price was China ($X per tonne), while Indonesia ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
