In value terms, the largest grapefruit markets worldwide were the United Arab Emirates ($X), Saudi Arabia ($X) and Iraq ($X), together comprising X% of total imports. Palestine, Kuwait, Turkey, Qatar and Oman lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

In 2017, the grapefruit import price in Middle East amounted to $X per tonne, increasing by X% against the previous year. The import price indicated a moderate expansion from 2007 to 2017: its price increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
Import prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest import price was Palestine ($X per kg), while Iraq ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
