In value terms, the largest gingerbread, sweet biscuits and waffles markets worldwide were France ($879M), Germany ($782M) and the UK ($683M), with a combined 45% share of total imports. The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Austria, Ireland, Poland, the Czech Republic and Portugal lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 40%.
