Over the period under review, canned mushroom exports reached their peak figure at $X in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2017, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The exports of the one major exporters of canned mushrooms, namely China, represented more than two-thirds of total export.
China was also the fastest growing in terms of the' canned mushroom' exports, with a CAGR of -X% from 2007 to 2017. From 2007 to 2017, the share of China increased by X% percentage points, while the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, China ($X) also remains the largest canned mushroom supplier in Asia.

In 2017, Vietnam (X tonnes), distantly followed by Japan (X tonnes), Malaysia (X tonnes), the Philippines (X tonnes), South Korea (X tonnes) and Israel (X tonnes) represented the largest importers of mushrooms (canned), together making up X% of total imports. The following importers - China, Hong Kong SAR (X tonnes), Singapore (X tonnes), Saudi Arabia (X tonnes), Lebanon (X tonnes), Thailand (X tonnes) and the United Arab Emirates (X tonnes) together made up X% of total imports.
From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of imports, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by Vietnam (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Vietnam ($X), Japan ($X) and Malaysia ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2017, with a combined X% share of total imports.
Import Prices by Country
The canned mushroom import price in Asia stood at $X per kg in 2017, increasing by X% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +X%.
Import prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest import price was Japan ($X per kg), while the Philippines ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of import prices was attained by China, Hong Kong SAR (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
