Canary Seed Market Overview

Canary seeds are a type of grains mainly used for bird feed. The price of canary seed depends on a variety of factors. These include the size of the crop yield, weather conditions, demand from buyers, and availability of different varieties. Additionally, production costs, government policies, and changing trends in the canary seed industry can also affect prices.

The demand for canary seed is driven by its use in bird feed. In Canada, the demand is increasing as more and more people are taking up the hobby of keeping pet birds. On the other hand, the supply of canary seed is largely determined by the size of the crop yield each year. With favorable weather conditions and good farming practices, the crop yields tend to be higher and can result in lower prices.
