In 2014, Germany exported 27.3 thousand tonnes of electrical insulating plastic fittings totaling 806 million USD, 12% over the previous year. Its primary trading partner was Romania, where it supplied 12.4% of its total electrical insulating plastic fitting exports in value terms, accounting for 33.2% of Romania's total imports.
