Camel Meat Market Overview

There are a number of factors that contribute to the high cost of camel meat, including the fact that camels are not typically raised for food production and therefore there is a limited supply. Additionally, camel meat is not as popular as other meats such as beef or chicken, so there is less demand for it. For these reasons, the price of camel meat is likely to remain high in Canada.

Camel meat prices in Canada have been on the rise in recent years, due to a number of factors. One of the main reasons for this is the increased demand from Middle Eastern and African immigrants for camel meat, which is a traditional food in their cultures. In addition, there has been a growing interest in camel meat among Canadians of all backgrounds as it is seen as a healthy and environmentally sustainable alternative to other meats such as beef and pork. The higher prices are also due to the fact that there are only a handful of camel slaughterhouses in Canada, which limits the supply of camel meat.
