U.S. Household Laundry Equipment Imports Grew Steadily from 2007 to 2015, with China Becoming the Leading Supplier in the Recent Years

The U.S. prevails in global imports of household laundry equipment, with a X% share (based on USD). It was distantly followed by Germany (X%), the UK (X%) and Japan (X%). In 2015, U.S. household laundry equipment imports totaled X million USD, which was X million USD (X%) more than the year before.
From 2007 to 2015, U.S. household laundry equipment imports showed steady growth, except only the outstanding peak of 2010, after which the gradual upward trend continued. There was an annual increase of +X% throughout the analysed period.

By contrast, Germany saw its share reduced dramatically from X% to X%.
From 2007 to 2015, the U.S. was a net importer of household laundry equipment. Moreover, imports grew faster than exports on average over the period under review. Following outpacing import growth, the U.S. trade deficit in this sector increased, growing steadily from X million USD in 2007 to X million USD in 2014.
