China strengthened its position in the U.S. import structure by +X percentage points from 2007 to 2015, while Japan and other suppliers saw their shares reduced.
From 2007 to 2015, the U.S. was a net importer of bare printed circuit boards. However, imports grew faster than exports on average over the period under review.
Net US imports of bare printed circuit boards displayed broad fluctuations over the period under review. The trade deficit worsened in the recent years, after a short-term reduction in 2014. In 2015, this industry ran a trade deficit of X million USD.
