Industrial Valve Market - The U.S. Keeps the Leading Share in Global Industrial Valve Imports, Totaling to nearly 13,6 Billion USD in 2015

The U.S. is the global leader in imports on the industrial valve market, accounting for a X% share (based on USD). It was distantly followed by China (X%), Germany (X%), and Canada (X%). In 2015, U.S. industrial valve imports totaled X million USD, which was X million USD (X%) less than the year before.
From 2007 to 2015, U.S. industrial valve imports showed mixed dynamics. A significant drop in 2009 was followed by steady growth over the next five years, until imports leveled off by -X% in 2015.
In 2010, U.S. industrial valve imports nearly recovered to their pre-recession levels. Since 2011, imports remained increasingly above the levels of 2008.
Supported by a positive imports trend of the recent years, the U.S. continues to be one of the biggest markets for global exporters.
China, Mexico, Japan, and Germany were the main suppliers of industrial valves into the U.S., with a combined share of X% of total U.S. imports in 2015. From 2007 to 2015, China (+X% per year) and Mexico (+X% per year) were the fastest growing suppliers. China improved its position in the U.S. import structure, from X% in 2007 to X% in 2015, while Mexico's share increased by +X percentage points to X%. The other countries recorded modest paces of growth over the same period.
From 2007 to 2015, the U.S. was a net importer of industrial valves. However, exports grew faster than imports on average over the period under review, and generally stood close to imports. Net US imports of industrial valves fluctuated substantially over the period under review, leading to a fall from X million USD in 2007 to X million USD in 2015.
