The Netherlands dominates in the global vegetable trade. In 2014, the Netherlands exported X million tonnes of vegetables totaling X billion USD, X% under the previous year. Its primary trading partner on the global vegetable market was Germany, where it supplied X% of its total vegetable exports in value terms, accounting for X% of Germany's total imports.

Overall, the global vegetable trade reached X million USD, with a CAGR of X% from 2007 to 2014. In physical terms, it increased from X thousand tonnes in 2007 to X thousand tonnes in 2014.

In 2014, the U.S. (X%), Germany (X%), the United Kingdom (X%), France (X%) and the Russian Federation (X%) were the leading destinations of vegetable imports, together making up X% of global imports. The share of the U.S. increased (+X percentage points), while the share of the United Kingdom illustrated negative dynamics (-X percentage points).

Spain and Mexico were among the other main global suppliers of vegetables in 2014 with a combined share of X% of global exports.
