China and India were among the other main global suppliers of onion and green shallot in 2014. China was also among the fastest growing exporters from 2007 to 2014 (+X% per year), and, by virtue of this sustained growth, significantly strengthened its position in the global export structure.
The Netherlands' top X trading partners were the aforementioned United Kingdom, as wll as Germany, Belgium, the Russian Federation and Senegal, with a combined X% share of the Netherlands' onion and green shallot exports. The share of Poland increased slightly (+X percentage points), while the share of Germany illustrated negative dynamics (-X percentage points).
