In 2022, the Vietnamese bottled water market was finally on the rise to reach $X after four years of decline. In general, consumption, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. From 2018 to 2023, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Myanmar ($X per litre), while the average price for exports to Malaysia (less than $X per litre) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (X%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Vietnam

In 2023, imports of bottled waters into Vietnam rose significantly to X litres, growing by X% against the year before. In general, imports continue to indicate significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X litres. From 2020 to 2023, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
