The volume of import peaked in 2023 and is likely to see steady growth in years to come.

In value terms, plastic headgear imports rose to $X in 2023. In general, imports showed a resilient expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2022 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2023 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

Imports by Country

Italy was the main importing country with an import of about X units, which accounted for X% of total imports. The UK (X units) ranks second in terms of the total imports with a X% share, followed by Spain (X%), the Netherlands (X%), Germany (X%) and Russia (X%). Poland (X units), France (X units), Greece (X units), Belgium (X units), Romania (X units) and Portugal (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
