The shipments of the five major exporters of tobacco (smoking tobacco, chewing tobacco, snuff), namely Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, France and Belgium, represented more than two-thirds of total export. There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2023, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($X per ton), while France ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
