In September 2023, the average table linen import price amounted to $10,258 per ton, shrinking by -3% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 30% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $12,721 per ton. From February 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was India ($10,640 per ton), while the price for Pakistan ($7,423 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+0.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average table linen export price stood at $19,264 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 9.4% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated a slight expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.5% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
